This $33 million project includes a 111,500 sf Replacement Middle School, a 5-classroom addition and remodel to the Elementary School, and some improvements to the District Theater.  The Elementary School addition will match the existing building in terms of layout and appearance.  The Middle School will be a new design based on the concepts of sustainabilty and energy efficiency.  The team is working to obtain LEED certification for this building.  The Elementary School addition started on June 5th and is scheduled to be complete before Christmas of 2006.  The Replacement Middle School also started June 5th and is scheduled to be complete in the fall of 2007.
